She was predeceased by: her parents, Ascension Palacios and Francisca Palacios; her husband Ovidio Peña; her son Daniel E. Peña; her grandson Patrick A. Peña; and her great grandchild Joseph O. Moore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Mendez, Estella Peña, Martha Peña and Victoria Peña; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Frank, Matthew, Amy, Sarah, Nathan, Erica, Dani, Briana, Christian and Aaron. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Martin Catholic Church (715 N 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363-4515). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
