She is survived by: her parents, Jose Rene and Maria Rafaela Cortez; her children, Oscar Jesus Montalvo of Kingsville and Katherine Victoria Montalvo of Kingsville; and her brother Jose Rene Cortez Jr. (Pamela). She is also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
