He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Esteban Torres and Maria Torres; his sister Rosalinda Torres; his close friend Bonnie McQueen of Houston; and his siblings, Maria Del Rosario Valerio (Alonzo) of Riviera, Rosalinda T. Alvarado (Jose) of Kingsville, Juan Torres of Kingsville and Mario Torres (Cindy) of Corpus Christi. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
