She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Enrique Galvan and Anselma Galvan; her husband Natividad Vela; and her brothers, Luis Galvan, Victor Galvan and Oscar Galvan.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Vela of Robstown, Enrique Vela of Ricardo, Rojelio Vela (Yesika) of Lyford, Natividad Vela Jr. (Gloria) of Ricardo and Eligio Vela (Angelica) of Ricardo; her siblings, Maria Galvan, Estella Galvan, Ester Galvan, Hector Galvan, Daniel Galvan and Enrique Galvan; and her grandchildren, Kevin Jimenez, Mason, Dylan, Elena, Misty, Natividad III, Aiden, Isabela, Brandon, Cheyenne, Kassidy, Eligio Jr., Jesenia, Jazamin and Jesus. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
