She was predeceased by: her parents, Severiano Salinas and Paula Salinas; her husband Hipolito H. Garza; her grandson Joshua Villarreal; and her siblings, Ofelia Hinojosa, Herminia Quinones, Lydia Cabrera, Severiano Salinas Jr., Emilio Salinas, Servando Salinas and Gilberto Salinas.
She is survived by: her children, Edna, Yvonne Aguilar (Donald) of Lawton, Dr. Annette Villarreal (Ismael) of Corpus Christi, Hipolito Garza Jr. of Kingsville, Armando Garza (Sylvia) of Medina and Robert Garza of Kingsville. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nieces.
