She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Meza and Margarita Ochoa Meza; and her siblings, Consuelo Meza of Guzman, Lucio and Juan Jose Meza Ochoa.

She is survived by: her husband Alejandro De Leon; her children, Margarita De Leon, Alejandro De Leon Jr. (Michelle), Veronica Alfaro (Evaristo), Rosa De Leon and Juan Adrian De Leon (Frances); her grandchildren, Laura Ann McReynolds, Alexis De Leon and Joey Alfaro; her great grandchildren, Vaden and Romeo; and her close friend Penny.
