She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Garza and Maria Garza; her husband Roberto Alfredo Barrera, Sr.; and her sister Maria "Gloria" Carrillo. She is survived by: her sons, John Barrera (Sharon) and Robert "Bob" Barrera, Jr. (Donna); her brother Juan Garza (Ofelia); her grandchildren, Derrick Barrera (Lacy), Simonie Hansen (Eric), Justin Barrera, Steven Barrera and Sara Barrera (Emir Yener); and her great grandchildren, Alayna Silva and Kaydee Barrera.
