She was predeceased by: her parents, Raul Alaniz and Alida Alaniz. She is survived by: her husband Jesse Thomas; her sister Iza Gonzalez; her children, Oscar Javier, Omar (Kristine), Dori (Dion) and Jessica (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Olivia, Simone, Julian, Layne, Isaac and Miller.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A rosary was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Martin Catholic Church (715 N 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Chamberlain Cemetery (735 W Caesar Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363).
