She was predeceased by: her brothers, Raul Vela and Juan Vela. She is survived by: her husband Alberto M. Castro of Kingsville; her children, Arnold Villarreal (Ester) of Kingsville, Diana Bazan (Jose) of San Antonio, Dalia Villarreal of Kingsville and Dora M. Castro of Kingsville; her sister Adelita Guzman of Kingsville; and her grandchildren, Jason, Alyssa, Freddy Jr., Anthony, Joshua, Tristina, Isabel and Samantha. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
