He is survived by: his parents, Domingo Chavez and Yolanda Chavez; his fiancée Hermelinda "Neenah" Del Moral of Kingsville; his children, David Lee Pena of Kingsville, Katheryn Garcia and Amy Moya; and his siblings, Arturo Chavez (Maria) of Kingsville, Santos Chavez (Gloria) of Kingsville, Domingo Chavez Jr. (Margarita) of Kingsville and Susana Salinas Chavez of Kingsville. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1430 Brookshire St, Kingsville, TX 78363).
