She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Erasmo "Coche" Mendietta; her parents, Alberto Garza and Herlinda Garza; and her siblings, Alberto Garza, Jr. and Consuelo Garza.
She is survived by: her children, Jose "Joey" Mendietta (Patricia), Julie Ann De La (Manny) and Jessica Gomez (Ramon); her siblings, Rose Salinas (Andy), Juan Garza (Patsy) and Connie Martinez (Carlos); her sister-in-law Dalissa Garza; her grandchildren, Tracie Alegria (Jacob), Teresa Lopez (Richard), Cristian Gomez (Myah Medrano), Jose "Tres" Mendietta, III, Harlie Gomez, Ramon Diego Gomez, Trista Mendietta, Jacob Mendietta, Nathan De La Rosa and Ryan De La Rosa; and her great grandchildren, Case Alegria, Andres Gomez and Aliyah Gomez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
