She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis W. Nelson and Pauline A. Jackson; her husband Dederick Walker; her sister Leola Bergen White; and her nephews, Kenneth Wilson and Montreal Palmer.

She is survived by: her children, Sharika Davis of Kingsville, QueTriva Bergen of Houston, Texas, DaLondric Bergen of Billings, Montona and Dederick Bergen of Billings, Montona; and her siblings, Alicia Blocknall, Jennifer Guyton, Carolyn Wilson, Gwen Bergen, Julietta Stevens, Louis Bergen and Charlie Garrett. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
