He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Prejean and Clelie Prejean; and his brothers, Chester, Claude and Cyril Prejean.
He is survived by: his wife Della Valure Prejean; his daughters, Julie Martin (Jason), Karen Herzberg (Bobby) and Virginia Bounds (Wesley); his stepdaughter Jeannie Riley (Mickey); his son John Moody (Carole); his stepson Timmy Foret (Linda); and his nephews, Raymond Prejean and Chester Prejean, Jr.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
