He was predeceased by: his parents, Benigno Lopez and Alicia Lopez (Puente); his great grandchild Benigno Solis, III; his stepfather Leonires Vela, Sr.; his siblings, Salvador Lopez, Enedina Hannah and Juan Lopez; and his sister-in-law Rita Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Esperanza Lopez; his daughters, Yvonne Flores, Laura Flores (Javier), Genevieve Lopez and Marianne Lopez; his brother Roberto Lopez; and his stepbrothers, Leonires Vela, Jr. (Gloria) and Jesse Vela. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
