We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Burleson in Kingsville, Texas, born in Houston, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Solon Haze Burleson; her parents, Thomas Riley and Irma Irene Hammer; and her siblings, Dorothy Janet Miller, Irma Jane Kelley and David Riley Hammer.
She is survived by: her brother John Charles Hammer (Barbara); and her children, Dennis (Terri), Glenn (Wanda), Rick (Barbara), Andy (Sara) and Janelle (Jimmy). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the San Pedro Presbyterian Church (14900 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78232).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Assistance League of San Antonio, honoring Barbara's legacy of kindness and generosity.
