She was predeceased by: her parent M. R. Custer; and her brothers, Richard (Marion) and George. She is survived by: her son Robert Johnson (Liz); and her stepdaughters, Marcia Thurmond and Ruthie Timberlake (Mike). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
