He was predeceased by: his siblings, Prudencio Salazar and Gloria S. Rios. He is survived by: his wife Elodia B. Perez of Kingsville; his daughters, Elizabeth Culp (Tracy), Edina Perez (Esau) and Erika Hethcoat (Jerry); his grandchildren, Victoria, Deven, Tyler, Ethan, Matthew and Connor; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Damian and Jayden; and his siblings, Sheila Anguiano, Rosie Salazar, Gracie Presas, Mary Lou Gonzalez and Ambrosio Salazar Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home (230 E Ella Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St Martin Catholic Church (715 N 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363-4515).
