She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Pena and Gregoria Pena; her stepfather Joaquin De La Garza, Sr.; and her brothers, Oleomar Pena and Joaquin De La Garza, Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Marzulema Pena of Corpus Christi, Eloy De La Garza (Anna), Larry De La Garza (Judy) and Diana De La Garza of Kingsville, Texas; her stepchildren, Mike Revilla of Odem, Dora R. Garza of Falfurrias and Daisy R. Rosas of La Joya, Texas; and her sister-in-law Criselda De La Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
