He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabas Perez and Josefa Perez (Gonzalez). He is survived by: his wife Esperanza "Hope" Perez; his children, Cyndy Lenz of Laredo, TX., Amadeo Perez, Jr. (Patricia) of Boerne, TX. and Paul Perez (Amber) of Deer Park, TX.; his grandchildren, Megan Lenz-Quezada (Carlos) of San Antonio, TX., Spencer Perez, Dominic Perez, Daniela Perez and Vance Perez; his great grandchildren, Sophia Quezada and Ariela Quezada; and his siblings, Javier Perez (Graciela) of Kingsville, TX., Sabas Perez, Jr. (Sandy) of Kingsville, TX., Erasmo Perez of Kingsville, TX., Sebastian Perez (Carrie) of New Caney, TX., Hilda Higginbotham of Kingsville, TX., Sylvia Trevino of Kingsville, TX., Dahlia Garza (Oscar) of Kingsville, TX., Elvira Garza of Anaheim, CA. and Lucy Perez of Austin, TX.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church (1120 S 8th St, Kingsville, TX 78363). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery (835 W Caesar Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363).
