She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose "Pepe" Ramirez and Cora Ramirez; and her son-in-law Matthew Sanchez. She is survived by: her husband Jesse L. Alvarez, Jr.; her children, Michael J. Alvarez, Laura Martinez (Tomas) and Corina Alvarez of San Antonio, TX; and her brother Dr. Ramiro Ramirez (Donna) of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and another on the way; 1 niece; and 2 nephews.
