She was predeceased by: her parents, Mateo Rodriguez and Altagracia Rodriguez; and her brother Robert Rodriguez (Bobby). She is survived by: her children, Ernie Cantu (Kim) and Missy Garcia (Bobby); her grandchildren, Cameron Cantu, Madison Cantu, Taylor Garcia and Kevin Garcia; and her siblings, Lydia Cavazos, Irma Woolever (Dave), Elvia Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez (Mary) and Letty Cavazos (Bano). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
