She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Silva and Agueda Silva; her husband Gregorio Q. Garcia; and her children, Adolfo Garcia, Norma Trevino and Emily Longoria.
She is survived by: her children, Zulema Langston of Corpus Christi, Eva Ford of Corpus Christi, Maria Guadalupe G. Ramos of Kingsville and Gregorio Garcia Jr. of Kingsville. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
