He is survived by: his wife Ana Maria Garza of Kingsland, Texas; his children, Ruben Garza, Jr. (Angie) of Kingsland, Laura LeBrock-Dreksler (Deborah) and Monica Gonzales (Jose); and his brothers, Ramon Ruiz Garza (Mary) and Reyes Ruiz Garza. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
