It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Hawkins (Kingsland, Texas), born in Wilson, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Luther; her son Rayman Howard; and her brother Steve Tankersley. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, John Howard and Elaine Howard Guerra; her grandchildren, Christopher Montemayor, Joel Montemayor, Elizabeth Howard, Zachary Pennington, Savannah McQuillan and Jessica Meeks; and her siblings, Larry, Frank, Jim Tankersley, Sherry Hays, Judy Wright and Vicki Brooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
