He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Britt Fietz and Christine Fietz; his wife Janet Fietz of Kingsland; his daughter Debra Bailey (Keary) of Round Rock; his daughter-in-law Jill Fietz of Kingsland; and his children, Scott Fietz of Kingsland, Rhonda Sledge (John Dee) of Pagosa Springs, Johnna McQuillan (Nathan) of Gunter and James Truett Fietz (Samantha Smith). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
