He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar James and Marie Ethel Dunn (Dunn); his siblings, Joseph Dunn, Patrick Dunn, Michael Dunn, Steve Dunn, Anne Goforth and Ida Moore; and his great grandchild Joel Skelton.
He is survived by: his close friend Janie Marie Engelking; his wife Marie of Kingsland; his children, Larry Dunn, Jr. (Brenda) of Round Rock, Eddie Dunn (Laura) of San Antonio, Texas and Melissa Dunn Powell of Kingsland; and his sisters, Dorothy Holder of Boerne, Mary Catherine Heye of San Antonio and Alice "Pinkie" Duncan of Boerne. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and by a host of other relatives and very special friends.
