He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Chambliss and Virginia Chambliss (Bailey); and his wife Tina Chambliss. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Chambliss and Detra Chambliss; his grandchildren, Ashley Rae, Ramon Torres, Marilu Rangel, Levi Chambliss, Mikenna Chambliss and Josephine Chambliss; his brothers, Lane Chambliss and Richard Chambliss; his great grandchildren, Angel and Bobby; and his girlfriend Laurie Kriegh.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Sunrise Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
