He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stern and Anna Stern (Seitz); and his sister Linda Cable. He is survived by: his children, Steven Stern (Kim) of Temple, Texas, Sheila Dodson (Mike) of Pflugerville, Donna Dean (Danny) of Alvin and Becky Canova of League City, Texas; and his sisters, Shirley Delaney and Charlotte Finkbone (Darrol). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
