He is survived by: his children, Brenda Bechtol, Becky Vasterling (Jim) of Kingsland, Lloyd "Pete" Coker of Gatesville and Ronald "Dean" Coker of DeRidder, LA; his brother-in-law L. E. "Lonzo" Settles of Temple; his grandchildren, Christy Piel, Tamara Buckles, Billy Cowart (Lacey) and Glynn Cowart; his great grandchildren, Erica Piel, Sheena Nation and Austin Nation; his nieces, Teresa Burrows, Jenny Lowrey and Cindy Lees; his nephew Duncan; and also, Darlene Clark and Dr. Leifeste.
Memorial donations may be made to Mooreville Cemetery and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
