She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Tate; and her brothers, Robert Schmidt (Lillie) and Nolan Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Tate of Kingsland and Darla Elam of Llano; her granddaughters, Jamie Syx (Jason) of Lampasas, Stacy Oncken (John) of Liberty Hill and Dana Oglesby (Steven) of Salado; her great grandchildren, Kayli Syx, Hunter, Hadley, Haegan Oncken, Tyler, Hudson and Emma Oglesby; her sisters, Gladys Talley (Teddy) and Vondean Schmidt; and her sister-in-law Pat Tate. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
