He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lee and Mildred Octavia Gilbert (Moore); and his sisters, Sybil Vick, Loyce Cartwright and Joyce White.
He is survived by: his wife Nona Gilbert; his sister Hortense Fisher; his children, David Gilbert and Tricia Webster (Todd); his grandchildren, Zachary Helm, Chris Helm (Tasha), Ryan Helm, Robin Roman (Josh) and Rusti Centner; and his great grandchildren, Vada Mitchell, Jasiman Mitchell, Raylie Roman, Haygen Centner and Michael Nelson. He is also survived by One great-great-grandchild, Winter Bible and numerous extended family and friends.
