It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tracy Simmons of Killeen, Texas, born in Saint Albans, New York, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Andrew and Gertrude Jackson; her grandparents, Bezel and Almedia Pender; her great-uncle Hazle Armstead; her great-aunt Juanita Hooper; and her aunt Rosie Jones.
She is survived by: her friends, Scott and Bennett Clinic; her children, Amber Nichole "Nikki" Butts Ware (Jeremy) of Atlanta and Kamryn Alexus Frasier Stiles; her parents, Dave Duren and Georgia Duren of Killeen; her siblings, David Duren Jr., Timothy Duren and Danielle Duren of Houston; and her cousins, Yolanda Furlow, Demetria Ford (Raymond), Tamara Hamilton (Julius), Hazel Thorpe (Peter) of Houston and Jacquelyn "Cookie" Scott of Crockett.
