He was predeceased by: his son Walter E. Yoakum; and his sisters, Mary Lou Snay and Kathleen Shireman. He is survived by: his children, Tammy S. Yoakum (Ronald Myers) of Tiffin, Teresa K. McIntyre (Robert V.) of Tiffin and Kimberly M. Bahan of Landshut Germany. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
