She was predeceased by: her grandmother Bessie Brown of Tennessee; her parents, Curtis Carey and Hazel Carey of Monroe Michigan; her grandparent Bergan; her sisters, Cleo Amolsch and Judy Pieseck; and her grandson Carl Griffin.
She is survived by: her husband Clinton Griffin; and her sons, Clinton Griffin Jr. (Stephanie Griffin) of Kempner and Richard Griffin (Debbie Griffin) of Killeen, Texas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family.
