He was predeceased by: his mother Luise Pauline Leismann; his wife Ursula Theresa Leismann; and his siblings, Werner Leismann and Lore Palamone. He is survived by: his brother Dieter Leismann of Ellweiler; and his children, Paul Michael Leismann (Elvira), Patricia Leismann Schlieper (Carl), Pamela Leismann Perlick (Brad) and Casandra Leismann Harrington (Stewart). He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
