She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emmett Gower and Mary Mildred Gower (Holmes); her brother Lynwood "Bud" Gower; her sisters-in-law, Wanda Gower and Carol Benoist of New York; her husband David Benoist; her children, Doniece Gray of Killeen, Donald Benoist (Missy) of Killeen and Mitz Benoist (Joyce) of Killeen; and her grandchildren, Cresta Smith, Tara Clifton, Amanda Ragsdale, Andrew Benoist, Morgan Benoist and Connor Benoist. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Live Oak Cemetery.
