He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Reese; his sister Arvilla Travis; his sons, Jeffrey Thrash (Donna) and Mark Thrash (Wanda); his grandsons, Richard Thrash (Angie), Daniel Thrash (Sandy), Ruben Deluna (Kim), Jeffrey Thrash and Shelby Johns; and his great grandchildren, Kyra Tucker Thrash, Annabelle Thrash, Asuna Deluna and Tabitha Thrash. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations in Wayne's name be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church's building fund.
