“Mary was my first mentor. My neighbor and a friend in my youth. I learned many things from Mary. She was a wise, smart lady and a wonderful take charge person who knew how to get things done. I watched her raise her children, run a business and a home. She was a great cook and Gardner. Life took us different directions as it does. But she always had a spot deep within. I see her in a peaceful place, as my memories of our times together flood back in my mind. She made a difference in me.”
