He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon McJunkin and Lorraine McJunkin. He is survived by: his daughter Callie McJunkin Goike; his grandson Gunnar Pierce Goike; his wife Sherry Middleton; his son-in-law Chris Goike; and his siblings, Richard, Curt, Dale, Larry, Jim McJunkin, Bonnie Wolcott, Diane Spears and Vicky Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stand Up and Play Foundation, Vista, California.
