He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold McCarthy and Dorothy McCarthy (Maneely); his siblings, Maureen and Kevin; his wife Jean Gloria Robinson; his children, John McCarthy, Jr. (Brenda), Patricia Clark (Kerry), Kathleen Corpina (Salvatore), Michael McCarthy (Jenifer) and Colleen Firkins (Lance); and his grandchildren, David, Ginger, Shannon, Erin, Robert, Austin, Sara, Alyson, Randy, Sean, Tristen and Megan. He was also cherished by twenty great grandchildren.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in John's memory to The Autism Society of Texas, 300 E. Highland Mall Blvd, #205, Austin, TX 78752.
