He was predeceased by: his parents, Calhoun Smith and Geraldine Smith; and his siblings, Jennifer, Jerry and Eric.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Smith (Linda) of Woodbury, MN., Carolyn Smith, Ronald Smith and Carol Bankhead of Killeen, TX; his sister-in-law Monica Smith of Harker Heights, TX; his brother Joseph Polk; and also, Voncille Smith, Victor Bankhead and Darlene Harris Simpson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins.
