He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Witherow and William Witherow; his grandchildren, Corey, Andrew, Harper and Oliver Witherow; and his nephews, Leslie and Douglas Edwards.

The military honors was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
