He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Romero and Esperanza Carranza. He is survived by: his wife Ana Maria Zuniga; his daughter Esperanza Romero; and his stepdaughter Berta Orellana. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
