She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Schmidt and Margareta Schmidt; and her siblings, Ludwig, Ellen, Renate, Ria and Wilma.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Sanchez; her brothers, Gerhardt and Hans; her children, Frank, Uver, Yvonne and Diana; her grandchildren, Cameron, Jaszmeen, London and Khary; and her great grandchildren, Gavin and Kaia.
