With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Erick Todd Matthys (Killeen, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Herman Matthys and Lila Matthys; his brother Frederick H. Matthys Jr. (Elaine); and his brother-in-law Ronald Beauford Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his daughters, Sara Trantham (Austin) and Julia Parma (Greg); his grandchildren, Tom, Campbell Trantham, Alex and Miles Parma; and his sisters, Ann Smalley (Lewis) and Gail Beauford.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Tunnel to Towers, St. Jude Research Hospital for Children, and Austin Pets Alive.
