She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Marie Howard Bigham and William Strickland Bigham (Bill); her spouse Carey Blackstone; and her sister Nancy Uzzel. She is survived by: her sons, William Blackstone of Huntsville and Andrew Blackstone of Killeen; her daughter-in-law Mardelle Atkins; her sister Mary Kliewer; and her brother-in-law Bill of Salado. She is also survived by numerous nieces, a nephew, great-nieces and a great-nephew.
