While; his wife Lucille; his children, Derick Ward (Juanita) and Kimberly Wesley (Corinthian "Kunta"); his grandchildren, Aseria Marie, Amir Earnest, Derick Jr., Rachel Marie, David Alexander and Amari Lee; and his sisters, Rachel Armston of Cincinnati, OH and Geraldine Robinson of Inglewood, CA. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
