With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy M. Sauls of Killeen, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Dorothy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dorothy. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Fisher and Bertha Fisher; her brothers, Gleo "Pat" Fisher, Emzie Lee Fisher, Jesse Grant Fisher and Robert Elzie Fisher; and her husband Wade Sauls.
She is survived by: her stepson Stephen Sauls (Pam); and her sister-in-law Lucille Fisher of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 3 granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home (1615 S Fort Hood St, Killeen, TX 76542).
She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, donating to many charitable organizations, and visits with her cousin, Freddie in San Jose.
