Puente; his children, David Lino Puente Jr., Brittany Puente, Nicholas Lichtenberger (Crystal), Delfina Cuellar, Rebecca Shorts, Ashley Shorts (Jamal Williams) and Edward Shorts; and his siblings, Angie Salinas (Jerry), Annette Espinoza (Manuel), Elizabeth Puente, Lino Puente Jr., Marcos Puente and Juan Angel Puente. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.
