He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Harper Jr. and Annie Mae Harper; and his brother Charles Harper. He is survived by: his wife Effel; his children, Jonathan Harper (Susan), Jennifer Harper, Dr. Morgan Fremstad and Jaclyn Randall; and his grandsons, Tyler Stephens, Aiden Scott and Christian Fremstad.
